CGT is seeking a Route Service Technician for the Butte, Miles City, Glendive, Kalispell, Missoula, and Great Falls divisions. This position will be trained in every aspect of gaming machine and related equipment service and repairs. The applicant will demonstrate the ability to learn new tasks, have a strong customer service focus, excellent time management and have the highest level of honesty and integrity. The Route Service Technician installs and test products, equipment and machines, providing instructions to customers on the proper usage of their product. Additional responsibilities include using diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluating the available information, fixing defective or broken products, upgrading software and running software tests on existing systems. Performance of routine, regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to avoid issues and potential down time. All services performed will be logged thoroughly and accurately in the company service programs. Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required. The candidate must demonstrate capable computer skills, Microsoft Office knowledge and the ability to relay information/instructions effectively to non-technical persons. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, some evenings and weekends with some overtime possible. This position offers an opportunity to work in a hands-on environment with LAN/WLAN networking infrastructure for a competitive, fast paced regional company. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to analyze an existing network and manage an inventory of evolving networking components. The Network Engineer will configure/test network device sets for various production environments and maintain them until EOL. Additional responsibilities include reading, following and writing technical procedures and manuals as well as working with other IT professionals to resolve issues. Specific Experience includes working knowledge of Firewalls, Routing Protocols, VPNs, VLANs, Wireless Bridging, packet Tracing and MikroTik RouterOS devices. Necessary skills include: a strong understanding of network topography; TCP/IP; Solid 802.11x understanding; ability to design and implement isolated LANs; Network monitoring and troubleshooting to solve connectivity problems on site, remotely, or via phone. CAT5e/CAT6 A/B cabling plus Net+ or CCNA certification – or equivalent work experience and education is required.
